Working Farm in Greens

watercolor, 9x12"
$100.00

One of my favorites. I love how the colors blended. I also was able to achieve a level of simplification that I haven't achieved in the past.

Roadside Cemetary, Rt 309

watercolor, 12x18"

For sale, $85.00

This is yet another daily painting inspired by a cemetary along route 309 on the way to Tunkhannock. I have always thought about painting cemetaries...I love the serenity, the beautiful grave markers, the landscaping, the iron details... but as soon as I begin I feel morbid and don't follow through. I think the use of colors helped to get me to the end of this one, and I'm glad I made it. It has a sense of flowing through the circle of life.

Anyone who's following, I posted this on both blogs today and I apologize!

Tea Party

watercolor, 6 x 11"

This is a study that I did today for a portrait of a little girl at a tea party. I think that I'll need to do a few more before I jump in!

Harveys Lake Last Autumn

8x10"ish watercolor

Another view from my window, assisted by a photo from last fall. Do I have to paint in oils?

From The Window

watercolor 18x22"

A quick sketch on prepped paper of the japanese maple outside of my window. The background is from some random memory of all of these barns I've been painting lately. The lake may be a better background for the next rendition.
